Police training exercise in Salisbury
POLICE were out in force in Salisbury today, but there was no need for concern, as they were carrying out a training exercise.
Marked and unmarked cars and motorbike officers were involved in the VIP training exercise in the town centre to practise procedures that would be put in place if, for example, a member of the royal family were to be escorted through the city.
