Durrington pupils to benefit from Tesco donation
THE new Tesco Express store opening in Durrington is celebrating its launch on Thursday with a donation to Durrington Junior School.
Headteacher Jenny Whymark and members of the school council will be the guests of honour and pupils will cut the ribbon to declare the new store at Bulford Road officially open at 10.30am.
As part of the opening celebrations, store manager Morgan Fletcher and his staff will be presenting the school with a cheque for £500 to go towards new outdoor play equipment.
